One of the most popular events we have held. Guests were treated to a traditional Chinese tea ceremony, beginning with a purifying ritual and premium teas for the spring season, including red and golden tea. Taiwanese-trained Tea Master Moreen Gao led guests through the history, meaning and purpose behind each component of the tea ceremony. Peter Zhang, Harvard-educated Chinese historian, provided additional information on the history of tea in China and the powerful mechanisms behind the ancient tradition of serving and drinking tea.
